New Orleans Photo Alliance proudly announces HUMAN EXPERIENCE: Juried Exhibition of Photography. The exhibition itself will be exhibited in the gallery in April and May with an opening reception on Tuesday, April 23, 2024, from 5:30-8:00 pm.

Through the art of photography, we have the power to illuminate, preserve, and express the diverse tapestry of human existence. ‘Human Experience‘ seeks to celebrate the depth, complexity, and beauty inherent in our shared journey as individuals and as a collective

‘Human Experience‘ is more than just a collection of photographs; it is a testament to our shared humanity. It is a reminder that, despite our differences, we are all interconnected by our joys, sorrows, hopes, and dreams. As photographers, we recognize the privilege and responsibility entrusted to us to bear witness to the world around us.

About The Author

Christopher Ryan is an international photographer specializing in conceptual portraits in unique environments, such as abandoned buildings and picturesque landscapes. His work breaks the barriers of race, age, and geographic location, capturing the energy and exuberance of the human form. He was influenced by his unusual upbringing in the American South. He seeks to retain the virtues of Southern Charm while abandoning pre-conceived notions of prejudice.
