“To all trans youth out there, I would like to say respect yourself and be proud of who you are. All human beings deserve equal treatment no matter their gender identity or sexuality. To be perceived as what you say you are is a basic right.”

Christopher is passionate about sharing his story with the world and always looking for gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender youth interested in sharing their story.
Chris is a gay cisgender White male married to a transgender Lao person. They met when Chris was working on his Youth & Urban Decay Series in Vientiane, Laos.
Chris was born and raised in a racist family in Mobile, Alabama. He enlisted in the US Navy at the age of 17. This was well before the "Don't Ask Don't Tell" policy, so it was a troubling time for him to come out. Fortunately, Chris was assigned to the care of a Black psychiatrist, Dr. Coleman, who changed Christopher's life in many positive ways.
