Introducing Christopher
Christopher Ryan is an international conceptual fine artist working as a photographer, model, and curator, based across New York City, Trenton, and Philadelphia.
Photography
As a photographer, Christopher’s conceptual fine art work has been exhibited throughout the United States and Thailand. His practice is driven by a lifelong passion for travel, having conducted his unique work across four continents — always searching for the strange, the striking, and the quietly surreal in the world around him. His fine art nude photography is featured on The Model Society, a curated platform that vets its photographers and models to maintain a professional, legitimate standard within the fine art nude community.
Modeling
As a model, Christopher has collaborated with photographers, painters, bodypainters, and sculptors around the world, including a decade of work with bodypainters internationally — among them the World Bodypaint Festival — alongside ongoing life-drawing sessions for institutions and private artists worldwide. This modeling work has also spanned four continents. You can see more of his modeling work here.
Curating
Christopher partners with galleries, organizations, and venues to produce exhibitions featuring his own work, as well as curating and producing group exhibitions. He is the former owner of Arabi Visual Arts in New Orleans.
