Today we visited the local Shaman and listened to his words of
wisdom as translated by our guide, Raul. The Shaman had a great
variety of medicinal plants and even a hallucinogenic concoction
they use for young shaman wanna-bes. They refused to share the hallucinogen
with us, but were very happy to rub a native plants on our bug bites
and scrapes. Amanda even got a tattoo by the cute young Shaman!
