Just a few more pics from the lodge to give you an idea of what
it is like there. There are a few cold water only showers for all
of the guest to share, these use river water. They have buckets
of water with spigots on them for us to drink out of, this water
is provided in the city and is safe for American consumption. They
call it "tourist water." The toilets are outhouses, but
they don't really smell bad or anything like that. The only problem
is you have to watch out for roaches and spiders when you place
your ass on the seat. It is also highly advisable to check for spiders
and snakes before lounging in one of the comfy hammocks.
Bacilio and Raul played some great Andean and Amazonian music each
and every night.
