Iquitos,
Peru
|
 |
| We were rousted out of bed very very early (4 a.m.)
to get on a flight from Lima to Iquitos. Iquitos is the largest landlocked
city in the world, meaning that you can only get to it by plane or
boat. There are no roads in or out of Iquitos. It seems that the whole
city is one gigantic market with people slaughtering pigs on the sidewalks
and peddling their market wares at every turn. |
